Pharmasolo Launches in the UAE: GCC-Ready Pharmacy Software Comes to Dubai

Pharmasolo, the pharmacy management platform built by Masirat Technology, is now available to pharmacies across the United Arab Emirates. After years of serving pharmacy operators throughout Oman and the wider GCC, we have brought the full Pharmasolo platform to the UAE market, with native support for the regulations, insurance networks, and operational realities that define pharmacy operations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and the Northern Emirates.

This is more than a geographic expansion. It is a platform built specifically for the way UAE pharmacies actually work.

Why the UAE, and Why Now

The UAE pharmacy market is one of the most dynamic in the region. It is projected to cross USD 6.5 billion by 2029, supported by a growing population, expanding mandatory health insurance, and a steady increase in the number of licensed pharmacies. From January 2025, mandatory health insurance extended to private sector employees across the Northern Emirates, bringing millions of additional residents into the insured pool.

At the same time, UAE pharmacies operate in one of the most digitally connected healthcare systems anywhere. NABIDH in Dubai, Malaffi in Abu Dhabi, and Riayati at the federal level form an interconnected health information network. Tatmeen tracks every pharmaceutical product from manufacturer to patient. The regulatory environment is sophisticated and demanding.

Pharmacy owners in this market told us the same thing repeatedly. They needed software that handled UAE compliance natively, processed insurance claims across the many networks and TPAs operating here, and scaled cleanly as they opened new branches. Many of the platforms available to them were either generic retail systems retrofitted for pharmacy use, or pharmacy systems built for other markets with UAE compliance bolted on as an afterthought.

We built Pharmasolo’s UAE version to be neither of those things.

What Pharmasolo Brings to UAE Pharmacies

Pharmasolo for the UAE handles the requirements that matter most in this market.

Full compliance integration. Native integration with NABIDH for Dubai pharmacies, Malaffi for Abu Dhabi, and Riayati for the Northern Emirates and federal layer. Tatmeen drug traceability is part of the dispensing workflow, not a separate module. The platform supports DHA, DOH, and MOHAP dispensing and reporting standards. We explain the full compliance picture in our pharmacy software compliance guide.

Comprehensive insurance management. Support for the major UAE insurance networks and TPAs, including Daman, Thiqa, NextCare, NAS Neuron, MedNet, and others. Eligibility verification at the point of sale, automated pre-authorisation flagging, claim submission through eClaimLink and Shafafiya, and rejection analytics that help pharmacies reduce claim losses.

Multi-branch and multi-emirate readiness. A single account manages multiple branches across multiple emirates, with consolidated inventory, reporting, and claim management. Stock can move between branches to reduce expiry losses and avoid unnecessary supplier orders.

Intelligent inventory and expiry control. Batch-level tracking integrated with Tatmeen, automatic FEFO at the dispensing screen, configurable expiry alerts, and supplier performance analytics that help pharmacies cut the expiry write-offs that quietly erode margin.

Bilingual Arabic and English operation. Full Arabic interface, right-to-left layout, and Arabic-language receipts, labels, and customer notifications, alongside English.

Cloud-based access with UAE data compliance. Owners access their pharmacy data securely from anywhere, with data hosted in line with UAE residency requirements and the security standards the market expects.

Built in the GCC, Proven in the GCC

Pharmasolo did not arrive in the UAE as an untested product. The platform has served pharmacy operators across Oman, where it was built from the ground up to handle GCC pharmacy operations, regional compliance, and the multi-branch growth that characterises successful pharmacy businesses in this part of the world.

That foundation matters. Software built for Western or Asian markets and then adapted for the GCC tends to miss the specifics: the insurance network structure, the regulatory bodies, the bilingual requirement, the way GCC pharmacies actually grow. Pharmasolo was designed for this region from the start. The UAE version extends that proven foundation with the local integrations the market requires. You can read more about the platform’s origins on our Pharmasolo platform overview.

Who Pharmasolo for the UAE Is Built For

The platform serves the full range of UAE pharmacy operations.

New pharmacy owners setting up their first location get a system that handles compliance from day one, so they pass inspections and avoid the costly early mistakes of choosing software that cannot meet UAE requirements.

Established independent pharmacies get a modern platform that reduces claim rejections, cuts expiry losses, and gives owners real visibility into their operations.

Growing chains get true multi-branch and multi-emirate operation under one account, with consolidated inventory, compliance, and reporting that single-branch software cannot match.

A Word From the Team

“Expanding Pharmasolo into the UAE was a natural next step. We have spent years learning exactly what GCC pharmacies need to run well, and the UAE is a market where the right software makes an enormous difference because the compliance and insurance environment is so demanding. We built the UAE version to take that complexity off the owner’s plate, so they can focus on patients and growth.”

What Comes Next

The UAE launch is the beginning of Pharmasolo’s wider regional expansion. We are continuing to deepen integrations with UAE health authorities and insurance networks, and we are expanding the team that supports UAE pharmacy operators. Recent compliance enhancements are detailed in our DHA, MOHAP, and NABIDH support update.
